Grand Theft Auto TV drama by BBC: Show will follow 'the making' of the Rockstar video game
- BBC declared it was making a television drama based on Grand Theft Auto
- The show is more likely to be about the development of the Rockstar game (more like a documentary) and its behind the scenes moments.
- The man behind the BBC drama has clarified that the series will be on the making of the hottest game of the year.
- Engadget reports that the show will be a "one-off, feature-length drama running 90 minutes"
- Two-part show on GTA is rumoured to be aired in September this year on BBC 2.
BBC 2s show will not be some fictional drama speaking about Lester and his gang of miscreants. Instead BBC has explained that the drama will most likely be a behind-the-scenes look at the development of the GTA.
The Grand Theft Auto series will be transitioning to BBC 2 for a two part episode explaining the development behind making the game and the background on the criminals lifestyles within the game. Based off the latest release of GTA V that was released in three waves. September 2012 released for PS3 and Xbox 360. September 2013 re release for the definitive version on PS4 and Xbox One. and the final release of the game on the PC platform has been confirmed for a Spring 2015 window.
