'Revenge pornography' could lead to 14 years in jail, say new guidelines
- Laws and child protection legislation which carry maximum sentences of between 10 and 14 years.
- CPS spokesman said: “No one should have to suffer the hurt and humiliation of ‘revenge pornography’
- There were 149 allegations of crimes involving revenge pornography during the last two-and-a-half years, according to the eight police forces in England and Wales with data on it.
- Anti-harassment laws and rules governing malicious communications, all of which carry up to six months’ imprisonment and a fine of up to £5,000.
- There were 149 cases over the last two and a half years.
In my opinion I think that revenge pornography is a breach of a persons privacy rights and should not be allowed to happen. The fact that they are enforcing this greatly now will prevent the supposedly stop the famous celebrity Iggy Azelea's sex tape from being leaked. Recently apple had a hacking done to their iCloud servers
